  • UC Santa Barbara is the home of the Kavli Institute of Theoretical Physics and the Center for Research in Financial Mathematics and Statistics.
  • The faculty at UC Santa Barbara -- aside from being very accomplished -- are extremely helpful and care deeply about their students' success.
  • Like to have fun?  UC Santa Barbara placed second in the Princeton Review's 2014 ranking of best party schools.
  • The climate in Santa Barbara is not bad either.
